Mahama Endorses Key Appointments to Vice President’s Office

President John Dramani Mahama has urged newly appointed officials in the Office of the Vice President to leverage their expertise and experience to contribute meaningfully to the “Resetting Ghana” initiative, aimed at shaping the nation’s future.

On Tuesday, January 28, President Mahama approved the selection of several key figures to serve in various capacities within the Vice President’s office.

A statement released by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Acting Spokesperson to the President, confirmed the appointments.

The newly appointed officials include Alex Segbefia as Chief of Staff to the Vice President, Maame Ama Pratt as Press Secretary, and Samuel Ofosu Ampofo as Policy Adviser, Political. Others named in the statement are Mrs. Alberta Graham as Head of Administration, Professor Theresah Ennin as Presidential Staffer & Special Aide to the Vice President, and Ms. Daniella Mavis Mathias as Secretary to the Vice President.

Additionally, Prof. Sharif Mahmud Khalid and Dr. Hamza Zakaria have been appointed as Policy Advisers in Economic Affairs, Ms. Mansa Amoa Awuah as Policy Adviser in Finance, and Dr. Miriam Rahinatu Iddrisu as Policy Adviser in the Social Sector.
