Mahama Forms Anti-Corruption Preparatory Team for ‘Operation Recover All Loot’

President-elect John Dramani Mahama has announced the formation of an anti-corruption preparatory team as part of his Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) initiative, signaling his administration’s commitment to tackling corruption and promoting accountability.

In a statement dated December 18, 2024, and signed by spokesperson Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Transition Team revealed that the preparatory team will focus on collecting credible information on suspected corruption cases. The team is chaired by Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa and includes a mix of respected professionals from various fields:

  • COP (Rtd.) Nathaniel Kofi Boakye – A retired senior police officer with expertise in investigations.
  • Mr. Martin Kpebu – Private legal practitioner and vocal anti-corruption advocate.
  • Mr. Raymond Archer – Investigative journalist with a track record of exposing corruption.
