2024 CAF Awards: Mohammed Kudus Named in Team of the Year
Black Stars and West Ham forward Mohammed Kudus has been named in the 2024 CAF Team of the Year following a stellar campaign that saw him shine both at club and international levels.
Kudus delivered an impressive debut season in the Premier League for West Ham United, scoring eight league goals and providing six assists. One of the highlights of his remarkable season was a stunning solo run and goal during a Europa League clash against Freiburg, a moment that has earned him a nomination for the prestigious 2024 FIFA Puskás Award and the title of West Ham’s Goal of the 2023/24 Season.
On the international stage, the 24-year-old continued his fine form, scoring a brilliant brace for the Black Stars in their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) fixture against Egypt. His consistent performances for both club and country secured his inclusion in CAF’s coveted Team of the Year.
